22 They made the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth–the work of a weaver- 23 with an opening in the center of the robe like the opening of a collar, and a band around this opening, so that it would not tear. 24 They made pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen around the hem of the robe. 25 And they made bells of pure gold and attached them around the hem between the pomegranates. 26 The bells and pomegranates alternated around the hem of the robe to be worn for ministering, as the LORD commanded Moses. 27 For Aaron and his sons, they made tunics of fine linen–the work of a weaver- 28 and the turban of fine linen, the linen headbands and the undergarments of finely twisted linen. 29 The sash was of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn–the work of an embroiderer–as the LORD commanded Moses. 30 They made the plate, the sacred diadem, out of pure gold and engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD. 31 Then they fastened a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban, as the LORD commanded Moses. 32 So all the work on the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. Meditation. 온전한 매듭을 짓는 성도
끝이 보이지 않던 어마어마한 성막건축 역사가 드디어 매듭을 짓게 되었다. 그것도 대충 매듭된 것이 아니라 여호와께서 말씀하신 그대로 정확하게 완성되었다. 순종의 완성도를 높이기 위해 모세는 과연 성막이 여호와께서 말씀하신대로 제작되었는지 점검한다(43절). 성막 기구 중 그 어떤 것도 쉽게 대충 제작할 수 있는 것이 아니었다. 대제사장의 옷만 하더라도 주요한 판결흉패를 제작하는 것 외에도, 에봇 안쪽에 입는 긴 겉옷과 반포무늬 속옷 제작에도 각각 많은 정성과 정교함이 요구되었다. 제일 끝 가장 자리에 석류를 수 놓고, 순금으로 방울을 달아 놓고, 이것을 교차적으로 돌아가며 장식했다(24-26절). 머리에 쓴 관도 정성을 다해 제작하고 그 머리 위에는 ‘여호와께 성결’이라는 말을 정성스레 새겨야 했다(30절).
나는 하나님이 내게 주신 사명을 온전하게 매듭짓는가? 아니면 시작은 하지만 늘 흐지부지 되지는 않는가? 주신 사명을 매듭지으라. 그것도 다시 한 번 꼼꼼히 점검하며 철저하게 마무리지으라.
