1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the LORD has commanded you to do: 2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death. 3 Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.” 4 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the LORD has commanded: 5 From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze; 6 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 7 ram skins dyed red and hides of sea cows ; acacia wood; 8 olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9 and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the LORD has commanded: 11 the tabernacle with its tent and its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases; 12 the ark with its poles and the atonement cover and the curtain that shields it; 13 the table with its poles and all its articles and the bread of the Presence; 14 the lampstand that is for light with its accessories, lamps and oil for the light; 15 the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle; 16 the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the bronze basin with its stand; 17 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard; 18 the tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, and their ropes; 19 the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary–both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests.”

Meditation. 하나님의 영광을 경험하려면
하나님의 영광을 경험하기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 할까? 이전보다 더 열심히 기도하고, 더 열심히 말씀대로 살아야 하는 것일까? 본문은 의외로 쉬라고 명령한다. 일하지 않는 것은 물론이요, 불도 피우지 말 것을 명령하신다(3절). 주님의 날에 아무것도 하지 않고 오직 하나님을 나의 하나님으로 예배하며 그분의 임재 안에 안식하는 것, 이것이 바로 하나님의 영광을 경험하기 위한 조건이다. 성막은 하나님의 영광을 경험하기 위한 하나님의 집이다. 그렇기에 성막을 건축하는 것 못지않게 중간중간 철저하게 안식일을 지키는 것이 요구된다. 그럴 때 이 성막이 인간의 힘으로 지은 것이 아니라 하나님이 하셨음을 고백할 수 있게 된다. 하나님의 영광을 경험하는 또 다른 길은 기쁨으로 나의 귀한 것을 하나님께 드리는 것이다. 성막은 바로 이러한 드림을 통해 이루어졌다.
나의 삶 속에 쉼과 드림은 얼마나 균형을 이루고 있는가? 하나님의 영광을 전심으로 사모하는가? 그렇다면 온전히 쉬라. 그리고 온전히 드리라. 온전히 드릴 때 쉴 수 있고, 온전히 쉴 때 주의 영광을 맛볼 수 있다.
