도움말.
주의 말씀을 조용히 읊조리려고 내가 새벽녘에 눈을 떴나이다(148절). 시인은 어둠이 물러가고 새 아침이 오는 시간에 더욱 크게 부르짖으며, 주님의 약속이 성취되기를 사모함.

Meditation.
시인은 주님의 말씀과 증거가 의롭다고 고백합니다. 시인은 고통 가운데 있지만 주님의 말씀과 증거를 기억하는 것이 자신이 지켜야 할 길임을 알았습니다. 하지만 현실은 녹록지 않았습니다. 시인은 주님의 말씀이 없는 대적들의 공격과 멸시를 받았습니다. 또한 환난과 우환도 겪었습니다. 이런 절체절명의 상황에서도 시인은 자신이 의지할 곳은 하나님 한 분뿐이라고 선포합니다. 그리고 사람들에게 도움을 구하지 않고, 오직 하나님께 집중하기 위해 조용한 새벽 시간에 말씀을 읊조리는 길을 선택합니다. 이처럼 아무도 깨지 않은 은밀한 시간에 주님의 말씀을 묵상하는 것은 영혼을 살리기 위해 반드시 필요합니다. 그러므로 오늘을 사는 성도도 주님과 깊이 있게 만나는 특별한 시간을 가져야 합니다. 새벽녘처럼 바쁘고 분주한 시간을 피해 주님께 집중하는 시간을 갖는다면, 어려운 상황 속에서도 세상에 휩쓸리지 않고 굳건히 이겨 낼 수 있을 것입니다. 내가 하나님과 교제하는 특별한 시간은 언제입니까? 주님과 즐거이 교제하는 시간을 만들고 사수하며 세상의 가치에 휩쓸리지 않게 하소서.
